I recently acquired this nice Ruger from a local guy and thought I would test the waters with it. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.īox, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes one (1) 10-round magazine that shows light operational wear, has intact feed lips, and rates in Fine condition. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good-to-Fine condition. The screws show light toolmarks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. The receiver has minor scuffs throughout. The barrel has light nicks and scuffs throughout, with the heaviest concentrations on the top near the receiver and the underside from the forend cap to the barrel band. Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 94% of its metal finish. Overall, the stock rates in Very Good-to-Fine condition.īore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. The buttpad is free of any notable wear or damage. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There is adhesive residue on the left side of the buttstock in the Ruger marking. There is minor finish loss and nicks on the magazine release. There are light draglines and minor scuffs throughout. There are sling swivels on the belly of the buttstock and the forend. Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece black polymer skeleton stock with serrated pistol grip and forend, straight comb, and serrated black rubber buttpad. ![]() The receiver rib is grooved for Ruger rings (not included). The rear sight is a flip-up u-notch with white triangle that is dovetailed into the barrel. Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded brass blade dovetailed into a banded base integral to the barrel. Both sides of the buttstock are marked with the Ruger phoenix logo and “RUGER®”. The bolt is serial-matching, and is hand-scribed “15775 / AD”. ![]() The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “701-15775”, “ RUGER ALL-WEATHER 77/22”, “®”, and a Ruger logo. Markings: The top of the barrel is marked with a two-line warning over “- STURM, RUGER & CO.
